Nationally renowned interior designer, Herb Press, Founded Herbert Gordon Press (HGP) Design in 1968 and had offices in New York, Florida and London. Herb relocated his business to Las Vegas in 1996 at the invitation of The Howard Hughes Corporation, Sullivan & Knott Real Estate and Cushman & Wakefield.
HGP Designs luxury homes and high-rise condominiums for some of the wealthiest people in the country. As the firm's president, Herb goes to great lengths to make each home design a personal expression of his client's personalities.
Known for his style and creativity in luxury homes, Herb understands that interior design is very personal to his clients. He is personally involved with each client's home and enjoys working with homeowners who take risks and "go out of the box" of traditional design.
Herb was asked to participate in 1998 and 2000's Street of Dreams home collection. Street of Dreams is an annual event featuring the valley's most exclusive and expensive show homes, which range in price from $1 million to more than $5 million.
Herb's experience and creativity in interior design are coupled with his knowledge of design trends and elements in countries throughout the world. Herb has traveled to Italy, France and Switzerland to find the world's most exquisite fabrics, furniture and antiques for clients.
Herb is a member of the National Council for Interior Design Qualification and the Better Business Bureau of Las Vegas. He has been nominated for the Reagan Gold Metal of Service and in 2003 received the National Republican Council Businessman of the Year award for Nevada. He also assists with the Ronald McDonald House, MASH Village, Opportunity Village and Classroom on Wheels.
He lives in Spanish Trail with wife Joanne and has two children.
